Hi, friends!
You have
come to this site, which means that you’re sentenced...
Because
the person fallen in love with malamutes is sentenced to like
these proud and forceful dogs, to be crazy about them. Of
course, you will ask, what are these dogs apt for, how do they
react to different keeping conditions. Of course you will get
your answers. But they are not that important to you; there’s
only one thing that really is – you are crazy about your
malamute and your mind you are already rushing with it through
the vastness of Alaska feeling yourself an explorer.
That’s
what has happened to me. Once having seen a malamute by chance I
understood that it was the dog I’ve dreamt all my life of. And
no arguments of its “uselessness” as a guard, of its freedom
loving and sometimes even capricious nature could stop me. I
still remember the tears of joy at the moment I first took this
cute, shaggy, plump boy to my hands; and my husband’s words:
“The dreams must come true”.
The
“dream” soon exhibited itself as a leader of a big man-and-cat
troop, barking loudly and desperately ripping everything off
with its calf’s teeth.
We called
the “dream” Balto. My son saw him as a hero of an Alaskan legend
shown in a cartoon of the same name- brave, lordly and tender.
Our Balto
has appeared to be very clever, kind and cheerful malamute-man.
He loves being in human- and cats’-fellowship and adores when
all members of his two-legged troop combs his paunch and cheeks.
But he dislikes to desperate yowling when someone’s playing with
his untouchable ball.
Impetuosity, power, independence with infinite self-devotion and
love to own “troop”, wit and acumen are all faces of a jewel
called malamute. And everyone who have already found or will
find this jewel to themselves will be happily sentenced to it…
